Developed inside the discipline it was built to serve.
Athervia is built by ReliaEdge Limited, a reliability, asset integrity and production assurance consultancy based in Masdar City Free Zone, Abu Dhabi. The discontinuity between a priced proposal and the project that follows it was identified in the course of our own tendering.
The commercial record and the delivery record should not diverge
Engineering services organisations commonly price a scope of work in a spreadsheet, win the engagement, and then reconstruct that scope in a separate project system. The reconstruction is treated as administrative, but it is the point at which two records of the same commitment begin to diverge. A line item is omitted, a rate is applied inconsistently, a deliverable is renamed.
At acceptance, the client verifies delivered work against the contract. Where the delivery record no longer corresponds to the priced record, the difference is recovered through negotiation rather than entitlement. Athervia maintains a single scope record from receipt of the tender through to closeout, so that correspondence is preserved by construction rather than by reconciliation.
Principles established before development
Domain-specific document handling
The platform is constructed around clause-referenced technical tenders as operators issue them, rather than adapted from a general-purpose questionnaire tool.
A single scope record
The scope that secures the engagement is the scope that governs its execution and verification. This constraint determined the architecture before any interface was designed.
Attributable output
Every element of a generated draft must be traceable to a source document. Requirements that cannot be resolved are declared rather than inferred.
